Edith Cotto

Edith Cotto, 47, of Ft. Meyers, Florida, formerly of Willimantic, died Sunday, January 8, 2006 in Ft. Meyers. She was born May 9, 1958 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the lateEmilio Cotto and Fidela Baez and had lived in Willimantic most of her life, moving to Ft. Meyers recently. She was employed for several years by United Services in Willimantic. She is survived by 2 daughters, Sonia Suarez and Jomaira Cotto of Ft. Meyers, a son, Roberto Suarez of Connecticut, 7 grandchildren, Xenia Alicea, Johnny Candelario, Jocelyn Candelario and Joey Candelario, all of Ft. Meyers, Janel Suarez, Aneudi Suarez and Devontae Suarez , all of Connecticut, 5 sisters, Marcelina Cotto of Lebanon, Emilia Cotto and Carmen Cotto, both of Willimantic, Maria Alamo and Luz Maria Cotto in Puerto Rico and a brother, Gabriel Cotto of Willimantic. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon, Club Rd.
