Dorothy Mathilda (Johnson) Moore, 96, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 in Whitefield, Maine. She was born February 6, 1909 in Coventry, the daughter of Carl and Anna (Olson) Johnson and had lived in Lebanon since 1948. She was a 1927 graduate of Windham High School and graduated from the New Haven School of Physical Therapy in 1935. Prior to her retirement in 1972, she was employed as a physical therapist for 25 years at the former Mansfield State Training School. On June 5, 1943 she married Hugh William Moore in Philadelphia. He predeceased her on August 12, 1964. Dorothy was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Lebanon, the Lebanon Historical Society and the Senior Citizen Groups of Lebanon and Franklin. She is survived by three children and their spouses; Austin Moore and his wife Shirley of Whitefield, Maine, Linda McCall and her husband Brian of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Cynthia Mello and her husband James of Lebanon, a sister, Jennie Scory of Haddam, 7 grandchildren including Lisa Mello Handfield and James A. Mello, both of Lebanon and Eileen Mello of New London, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, George Johnson of Coventry. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Congregational Church of Lebanon, Rte. 207, Lebanon Green. Burial will be private in the New Lebanon Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Windham Area Interfaith Ministries (WAIM), P. O.
