Dorothy (Clark) Johnson, 91, of Willimantic, CT passed away peacefully on May 3, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at Regency Heights of Windham. She was born May 10, 1920 in Norwich, CT, daughter of the late Harry Clark and Alice Kyle Clark. She was married to the late Walter A. Johnson on June 6, 1942 in Willimantic. She was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy Class of 1938. Dorothy was employed at Eastern CT State University retiring in 1982. She was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church, CSEA Retiree Chapter #408 and AARP #3118. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws, Shirley and Andy Lebisczcak of Willimantic and Barbara and Frank Perrotti of Storrs, four grandchildren and their spouses, Michele and Michael Morytko, Jon and Andrea Lucas, Jeremy and Kristine Lucas and Sean Boucher; six great-grandchildren, Ashley and Daniel Morytko, Julia and Cameron Lucas, Maxen and Renner Lucas. She was a kind, loving, compassionate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who believed in the importance of family and will be truly missed. The family wishes to thank the staff at Regency Heights of Windham for the exceptional care she received while she was a resident there. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday May 6, 2012 between 2:00 and 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday at 11:00am at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, corner of Oak & Summit St. Willimantic. Interment service will be private in New Willimantic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ebenezer Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 96 Oak St., Willimantic, CT 06226 or to The Card Home for the Aged, 154 Pleasant St., Willimantic, CT 06226.
