Dorothy L. Burns

Dorothy L. Burns, age 99, of West Hartford, CT passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Born June 14, 1915 in Hartford, CT to William & Charlotte Kinghorn, Dorothy lived a long and memorable life. She is survived by her son, Robert Parizeau of Woodstock Valley, CT: grandsons Derek Kramer (Deb), John Postler (Dale), Paul Postler, Jeffrey Parizeau (Kristin), Michael Parizeau (Clarissa); grand-daughters Lisa (Joseph), Cheryl (Steven), Joy (Rick); 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband, Eli J. Parizeau; her second husband, Ralph M. Burns; her daughter, Judith Kramer, and three great-grandchildren, Patti Ann, Michael, and Michelle Parizeau. A Graveside Burial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, April 17, 2015, at the family burial plot at Storrs Cemetery, N. Eagleville Road, Storrs, CT, officiated by Rev. Heather Bailes Baker of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield.
