Doris M. Wheeler

Doris M. Wheeler, 94, of Windham, wife of the late Richard B. Wheeler Sr., died Sunday February 13, 2005 in Windham. She was born March 20, 1910 in Worcester, MA, the daughter of George and Mildred Matheson and had lived in Windham many years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family. She is survived by 9 children, Marie Richer of Dudley, MA, Richard B. Wheeler Jr. of Richmond, MA, David M. Wheeler of Southbridge, MA, Robert M. Wheeler of Windham, Edith Green of Windham, James Wheeler of Webster, MA, Unabelle Tubbs of Pomfret Center, George Wheeler of Scotland and Judith Wheeler of Windham, 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by a son Thomas Wheeler in1986. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Windham Center Cemetery, Rte. 203 Windham. There are no calling hours.
