Doris Sutcliffe

Doris Sutcliffe of Scotland, passed peacefully surrounded by the Angels of St. Joseph's Living Center. Doris was pre-deceased by her husband Dawson, her son Deane and her granddaughter Tracey. She is survived by her daughters Gail and Chris; her sons Brian, Brad and Marty; her in-laws Gard, Kim, Cecile and Barbara; her grandchildren, Glenn, Robyn, Heather, Meagan, Erin, Beth and Deane; great-granddaughter Allora, neices, nephews and friends. Doris enjoyed the variety that her secretarial work offered her and loved her time as a photojournalist. She was active in many venues of town affairs and her quick mind and sense of humor stood her well. She loved her family, gardening and rocks. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday Nov. 19th between 6:00 and 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00am at St. Margaret Church, Rte. 14 Scotland. Interment will follow in Scotland Cemetery.
