Doris D. Foley

Doris D. Foley, 93, of Chaplin, widow of Donald Foley, died Tuesday November 18, 2003 in Windham. She was born June 28, 1910 in New Hampshire, the daughter of Joseph and Mabel Dionne. She was active in a number of community affairs and was a member of the Chaplin Congregational Church. Mrs. Foley was employed as a floor manager at the former W. T. Grant Store in Willimantic and was later employed at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford. She is survived by a niece, Catherine Stephenson and her husband Brian Cyr of Ellington, a nephew, David Stephenson of Stafford Springs and his friend Susan Phillips, a brother, Kenneth Mason and his wife Beverly of Mansfield. Funeral services and burial will be private in Derry, NH. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Joseph Living Center, Club Rd., Windham, CT 06280. Arrangements are through the Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic.
