Donna D. Vega Lagasse

Donna D. Vega LaGasse, 48, of Willington, died of cancer on Jan. 3, 2009 at Douglas Manor in Windham with her loving family at her side. Donna was born Nov. 18, 1960 in Willimantic. She was last employed at Nathan Hale Convention Center in Storrs and had worked in many local restaurants throughout the years. She is survived by sons, Jeremy Noel of Ohio and Robert Noel of Willington; sister Arlene Kinney and her husband Ralph of Windham; brothers Ken LaGasse of Gorham, Maine and Glenn LaGasse of Portland, Maine; two nieces, a great niece, three aunts, two uncles, many cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Patricia (Frappier) LaGasse and a brother Wendall LaGasse. From Jeremy, "Mom, if butterflies could fly to heaven, I would send my love to you and bring your love to me. I love you and will miss you always." From Arlene, "Sister, I will always love you more!" Calling hours will not be held. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 at St. Mary Church, Valley St. Willimantic. Interment will be private at a later date.
