Donna Marie Nichols

Donna Marie Nichols, 69, of Windham, died Thursday June 28, 2012 at Windham Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Charles Whitney and Lillian (Edwards) Rioux. Donna enjoyed working with the elderly and crafting. She had been employed as a home health aide and as a nurse's aide at the former Abbey Manor, Windham. She loved her grandchildren. She was a loving sister and mother. Donna is survived by a daughter Leslie Nichols and son in law Wade Plourde of Baltic, brother William Rioux and his wife Sharon of Columbia, two sisters Loretta Ausburger and her husband David of Columbia and Amelia Simoneau and her husband George of Lisbon and two grandchildren Shaina Ausburger and Hannah Plourde. Her family will receive relatives and friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, on July 10, 2012 from 5:30 to 6:00pm with a service beginning at 6:00pm.
