Donna R. Kelly

Donna R. Kelly, 67, of Willimantic, wife for 45 years to the late Ralph Kelly, died Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Windham Hospital. She was born January 6, 1942 in Manchester, daughter of the late Joseph and Lela (Gilpin) Lemaire and had lived in Willimantic all her life. Prior to her retirement in 1991, she was employed for 20 years by the Connecticut Department of Mental Retardation. She is survived by five children, Ralph A. Kelly and his wife Jackie of Willimantic, Diane Hall and her husband Evan of Scotland, Nancy Lemire and her husband Ken of Willimantic, Jane Kelly of Willimantic , James Kelly and his wife Summer, also of Willimantic, three sisiters, Lucille Carta of Portland, Louise Marvel of Florida and Olzilda Brouder of Pennsylvania, 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Sawyer and a brother, Frank Lemaire Jr. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic, on Friday, March 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Coventry.
