Donna Jean (Robinson) Haddad, 34, of Pucker St. Coventry, wife of David Haddad, died Thursday Oct. 4, 2001 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, after a lengthy illness. She was born Jan. 3, 1967 in Meriden, the daughter of Marie McCain of Willimantic and Charles Robinson of Willimantic. Donna had been employed at the E.O.Smith High School Library for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Willimantic. Donna enjoyed working in her vegetable garden, fishing, skiing and the beach. She enjoyed reading about angels and collected gargoyles and pigs. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughter Kelly Robinson of Willimantic, her son Denis Haddad of Coventry, her sisters Sarah Robinson and Rebecca Chalifoux both of Mansfield and Carol Clement of Willimantic , her nieces and nephews Brandon and Amy Chalifoux, Christopher Scott and Angelika Clement and her maternal grandmother Anne Hastings of Baltic. Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Willimantic, 667 Main St. Willimantic. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 to 11:00am prior to the service. Burial will follow in the New Coventry Cemetery, Coventry.
