Donald M. Skauen

Donald M. Skauen, Professor Emeritus, School of Pharmacy, University of Connecticut, died Thursday, April 13, 2006 in Windham. He was born in West Newton, Massachusetts on May 14, 1916 to the late Markus and Mary (Dungan) Skauen. He was the husband of 63 years to the late Rachel M. Skauen. He received his Bachelor s and Master s Degrees from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and his PhD from Perdue University. He is survived by his children, Deborah and Bruce, his granddaughter Jennifer, his great grandchildren Elizabeth and Skudder Jr., his sister Elinor, his sister-in-law Mary and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for Donald and Rachel on May 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Storrs Congregational Church, North Eagleville Rd. Storrs.
