Donald A. Robinson, 74, of Coventry, formerly of New London and Florida, husband of Barbara Ann (Tiffany) Robinson, died Sunday, April 12, 2009 at the Windham Hospital. He was born June 6, 1934 in Cumberland, MD, son of the late Bernard and Mary (Ravenscroft) Robinson and had lived in New London for many years before spending 21 years of retirement in Florida, moving to Coventry two years ago. Prior to his retirement he was employed for many years by Interstate Electronics at Electric Boat in Groton. Donald was a former member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed research in genealogy as a hobby. In addition to his wife of 46 years he is survived by a son, Craig Arthur Robinson of North Windham, three grandsons, a granddaughter, a great grandson, many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Taz. He was predeceased by a son, Scot Robinson. A memorial service will be held May 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Pequot Chapel, 857 Montauk Ave., New London. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
