Dionisio “Johnny” Ortiz Pacheco, 71, of Willimantic, CT passed away on February 3, 2022. He was born in Juana Diaz, PR, son of the late Santo Pacheco and Anicasia Ortiz.
Johnny enjoyed playing golf and watching the NY Yankees his ultimate favorite baseball team. He was considered the best cook in Willimantic by his friends and family.
Most of us will remember Johnny for his youthful spirit and heart of gold. Johnny was considered a father figure to many that loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Milagros Cruz; children Yahaira Hernandez, Freddy Beltran, Johnny Pacheco, and Omar Natal; seven grandchildren; his brother, Cesar Marquez; and sisters, Nelly Marquez and Gloria Pacheco.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. His funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Funeraria San Ramon, Calle 3 De Enero Juana Diaz, PR 00795. His burial will be on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Cementerio Municipal de Juana Diaz, Carretera 14 Juana Diaz.
