Diane L. (Pepin) Coriaty, 64, of Lewiston Ave. Willimantic, widow of Charles Coriaty, died Saturday Feb. 22, 2003 at the Hartford Hospital. She was born July 19, 1938 in the Moosup section of Plainfield the daughter of Harvey and Lillian (Freshette) Pepin Sr. She had retired from UConn after 35 years of service. Diane was an avid Bingo player, a member of the Women of the Moose and the Lebanese American Club and a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Willimantic. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son and daughter in law Alex and Brunilda Coriaty of N. Windham, a daughter and son in law Diane and Victor Rayhall of N. Windham, 3 brothers; Harvey Pepin of Sterling, Joseph Ravenelle of PA. and Ernest Pepin of MA., a sister Lee Beaulac of Willimantic, 4 grandchildren; Anthony, Ashley and Chelsey Rayhall and Dylan Coriaty and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Raymond Pepin and 3 sisters; Bernadette Lamoureux, Dorothy Shaw and Rita Jones. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:15am prior to the procession to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to St. Joseph Church Renovation Fund, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic,CT. 06226.
