Dennis J. Surette, 39, of Brooklyn, died unexpectedly Tuesday March 1, 2005 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. He was born February 2, 1966 in Willimantic, son of the late Alphonse and Phyllis (Cormier) Surette and had lived in Eagleville for many years. He was a 1985 graduate of Windham High School and graduated from the Certified Respiratory Therapist Program of Manchester Community College in 1993. Mr. Surette was employed at Windham Hospital since 1990 and was also employed by Northeast Professional Home Care Services in Vernon. He is survived by his best friend, Michael Peloquin of Brooklyn, 2 sisters, Carmella Duchaineau of Quinebaug, Pamelia Elwell of Willimantic, a brother, Michael Surette of Willimantic, many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Surette. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:15 am prior to the procession to his Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Willimantic.
