Dennis James O'Donnell

Dennis J. O'Donnell, 62, of Hampton, husband of Phyllis (Davenport) O'Donnell, died Monday February 3, 2003 in Danielson. He was born February 8, 1940 in Leominster, MA, the son of Harold and Dorothy O'Donnell. Mr. O'Donnell was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from the Willimantic Police Force after 22 years of service. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Robert O'Donnell of Willimantic, daughter Sandra G. Smith and her husband David and their children Daniel, Joshua and Christy of San Antonio, TX, daughter Angela Lombardi and her husband Michael and their daughter Lauren of Milford. Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Willimantic Police Department Policeman's Benefit Association, 42 Meadow St. Willimantic, CT 06226.
