Denis Blanchette

Denis Blanchette, 66, of Windham, CT died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. He was born in East Angus (province of Quebec) Canada on August 19, 1947 to the late Paul and Rita (Marquis) Blanchette. He was also predeceased by his brother, Jean-Paul Blanchette, his sister, Jeanette Blanchette, and his son, Dennis Blanchette. He served in the U.S Army in the late 1960's and early 1970's. He is survived by his children Julie (Blanchette) Mott and her husband Lee, Lisa (Blanchette) Lowe and her husband Wayne, Joshua Blanchette and his girlfriend Briana Cuomo and Megan Blanchette; 2 stepsons, Corey Gray and his wife Jen, and Dennis Walton. He also leaves his brother Serge Blanchette and his wife Mary, his brother Roger and his wife Debbie. He also leaves his many grandchildren, Ashley(MacDonald) Murcia and her husband Luis, Dennis MacDonald and his girlfriend Brittany Robinson, Erica Mott, Derek Mott, Kurt Mott, Eddie Lowe, Tyler Hegarty, Noah Gray, Kenleigh Gray, and his great granddaughter Aylah Murcia. He is also going to be missed by his several nieces and nephews. His family would like to invite relatives and friends to St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Plains Road in Windham for his memorial service on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 12:00 noon.
