Demesio Osuba, 61, of Willimantic, husband of Aurea (Ingles) Osuba, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at their home. He was born December 20, 1948 in Puerto Rico, the son of Masimino and Virginia Osuba and had lived in Willimantic for the past 25 years. Demesio enjoyed music, playing his guitar and collecting antique cars. In addition to his wife he is survived by six sons, Wilfredo Ducot and his wife Holly of Middletown, Rodney Ducot and his wife Colleen of Kissimee, FL, Anderson Ducot and his wife Dawn of Willimantic, three sons and daughters-in-law in Puerto Rico, one daughter, Jessica Osuba of Willimantic, five brothers, Miguel and Jose Osuba of Willimantic, Juan and Luis Osuba of Puerto Rico and Jose Osuba of NJ, two sisters, Carmen Osuba and her husband Filipa of Willimantic and Rosie Osuba, also of Willimantic, 18 grandchildren, including Ashlee, Tenisha and Kristofer Ducot, all of Willimantic and 2 great grandchildren. His family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon, Club Rd. in Windham with assembly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
