Deborah Ann (Kuhn) Tatro, born on December 24, 1954, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2010. She leaves behind her son Jeffrey Tatro Jr., his fiancAC. Alissa Piascik, and daughter Jennifer (Tatro) Busse and husband Christopher, both of Ashford, CT. She also leaves behind Jeffrey Tatro Sr. and many loving family members including her mother, Shirley Swan of Willimantic, father William Kuhn Sr. and wife Carol of Windham along with siblings: William Kuhn Jr. and Christine Pucci of Taftville, Kathy Pike and husband Rick of Indiana, Charles Kuhn and wife Sheryl of Windham, Lisa Bradley and husband Charlie of Mansfield, and Melissa Theiler and husband Rick of Wisconsin. Debbie was predeceased by her loving sister, Patricia (Kuhn) Pescetello who she now joins in heaven. Debbie was also survived by her godchild, Amanda Kuhn of Windham along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Debbie's pride and joy were her three grandchildren: Zachary Busse, Kierra Busse, and Adam Tatro. The children adored her loving personality and were always able to keep her spirits up. She was 1972 graduate of Windham High School and a dedicated worker at Ashford School for 23 years. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her favorite sports teams - the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and Uconn Huskies. Debbie was a genuine, kindhearted person that brought happiness into the lives of those around her. She will be greatly missed by all! Her family will receive relatives and friends at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St (Rt. 195) in Willimantic on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 2:00-3:30pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Debbie's name. Following the service, please join us at the Elks Lodge of Willimantic to commemorate Debbie's life and the beautiful person she was.
