Dawn Rose (Alvarado) Brett, previously Gonzales, 49, of Willimantic, CT, was unexpectedly taken from us on March 25, 2021. Dawn was born on April 28, 1971 in Willimantic, Connecticut. She had a heart of gold and loved the beach, gardening, sunsets, and the little things in life. Dawn was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished the time spent with her “sunshines.” She leaves behind her precious daughters, Shantelle, Desiree, and Janay Gonzales and her beloved grandbabies Damar and Juelle. She also leaves behind her parents, Robert and Dorothy Alvarado, dearest Eric, her nephew Kyle, and her adopted cat “King”. She is survived by her brothers Jay and David, along with their children. Please join us in celebrating her life. Memorial services for Dawn will be held at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic CT on April 2, 2021 from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
