David Howard Yorke

David H. Yorke, 40, of Mansfield, died Monday March 21, 2005 in Coventry. He was born Dec. 19, 1964 in Willimantic the son of Howard and Judy (Palmer) Yorke of Mansfield Center and was a lifelong Mansfield resident. He received a Bachelors Degree from ECSU graduating magna cum laude. David had been employed for many years in the area as a hair stylist, working for the last 11 years at the Cutting Crew in the Eastbrook Mall. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother and sister in law Jason and Jennifer Yorke of Mansfield Center, a nephew Michael, a niece Emily, his maternal grandfather Raymond Mellor of Manchester and 2 cousins, Florence Dube of Andover and Winifred Hinckley of Columbia. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Monday between 6:00 and 8:00pm. His funeral service will be held at the Baptist Fellowship, Rte. 6, Columbia on Tuesday at 11:00am. with burial following in the Mansfield Center Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
