David Montanez, Jr., 51, of Willimantic, CT passed away on May 15, 2022. He was born in Bronx, NY to Almida Quiñones-Montanez and the late David Montanez.
David was always helping someone out, he truly cared for those around him. He loved his mom, children, and grandchildren. He also enjoyed making people laugh and joking around.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, David Montanez, Jr. and his wife, Crystal Torres, Erica Montanez and her spouse, David Delarosa, Beatrice Montanez, and Noel Montanez; grandchildren, Joziah, Kaylee, and Layla Montanez, Lawrence Delarosa, Logan Delarosa, and Lilian Montanez; Lianna Cook, Lianie Williams, and Liniyah Williams; great grandson, Joseph Plant; siblings, Daisy Montanez, Marisol Cintron, Israel Montanez, Richie Montanez, Jackie Montanez, George Gotay, and Yancy Rivera; and many nieces and nephews.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic, CT. His Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday May 24, 2022 at 11:00am at Sagrado Corazon De Jesus Church, 61 Club Road, Windham, CT with his burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery on Club Road, Windham, CT.
