Darrell Wayne Staples

Darrell W. Staples, 58, of Willimantic, husband of Elaine (Randall) Staples, died Tuesday July 20, 2004 in Coventry. He was born December 1, 1945 in Presque Isle, ME, the son of Thelma (Wilson) Paradise of upstate New York and the late Freeman Staples Sr. and had lived in Willimantic most of his life. He was most recently employed for several years at Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Mr. Staples was a loving husband and father. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by a step-son Patrick Randall of Preston, a sister, Sandy Warren of New York, 2 brothers, David Staples of Virginia and Bobby Paradise of Florida, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Lebanon Bible Church, 857 Goshen Hill Rd., Lebanon. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eagleville Volunteer Fire Dept., 879 Stafford Rd., Storrs, CT 06268.
