Cynthia O. Milhomme

Cynthia O. (Stearns) Milhomme, 69, of Columbia, wife of Raymond Milhomme, died Saturday Oct. 1, 2005 at Windham Hospital. She was born Jan. 5, 1936 in Mansfield, the daughter of Orissa Krest of St. Petersburg, FL. and the late Ellsworth Stearns. Cynthia was a foster mother to several children over the years. She was a member of Victory Bible Baptist Church in Ledyard and the North Windham Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary. After 30 years of employment, she retired from Columbia Cleaners. Cynthia was a born again Christian who loved Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband Raymond, her mother Orissa Krest and her husband Marcus of St. Petersburg, FL., her stepmother Frances Stearns of Willimantic, 3 children, Raymond Milhomme II of Buffalo, N.Y., Margo Rife of Jacksonville, FL. and James Milhomme of Columbia; a brother Jared Stearns of Ellington, 3 sisters, Mary Bill, Martha Baker and Wilhelmina Williams all of Willimantic; 2 step brothers, Donald Adams of Willimantic and Gordon Adams of R.I. and several grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday at 1:00pm. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers.
