Curtis Braxton Obituary
Curtis Glenn Braxton Sr. 70 passed away Saturday October 12th 2024 at his home in Connecticut. Curtis retired from the Army in Denver, Colorado where he resided until moving back east in 2017.

Born in Providence, R.I. he was the son of the late John Braxton and Velma (Taylor) Braxton and the youngest of 7 children.

He is survived by his wife Laurie Sylvia Braxton, his children Tamika Lewis, Curtis Glenn Braxton Jr., Whitney Elder and Rachel Elder all of Denver, Colorado. He also was the step dad to Philisha, Alexandria and DeAnthony Sylvia and he is survived by many grandchildren.

Curtis loved to sing and play the piano. R&B and Gospel were his favorite. He was an avid gamer, and loved to compete in online competitions. He recorded hundreds of songs on different apps of all genres.

Curtis will be missed by many as he was such an incredibly smart and positive, a true gem of a person. May he rest in peace.
