Corrine K. Wyand, aged 78 of Mansfield Center, CT, passed away at home of natural causes on Sunday, June 27, 2010. Corrine was born November 26, 1931 in New Haven, CT, daughter of Joseph and Mary Kurosky. Corrine was married to D. Stuart Wyand on August 29, 1953 in New Haven, CT. Corrine was a graduate of Hamden High School, attended the University of Connecticut 1951-52, and later returned to graduate with a degree in Art History in 1983. She was a docent at the Benton Museum on the University of Connecticut campus following her graduation. She loved animals, enjoyed bird watching, and was an avid reader and traveler. She is survived by her husband, D. Stuart Wyand of Mansfield Center, CT, her children Michael Wyand, Stow, MA, Robert Wyand, Durham, NH, and Wanda Wyand, North Kingstown, RI and her grandchildren, Allison, Conor, and Trevor of Michael and Jeanne Wyand, Megan, Rachel, and Spencer of Robert and Martha Wyand, and Ian Ouellette, Matthew Ouellette, Katherine Ouellette, and Peter Ouellette of Wanda Wyand. Corrine was predeceased by her parents and her siblings Joseph Kurosky and Delores Benson. She will be buried at a private ceremony in Storrs Cemetery with a memorial service Saturday, July 3 in Stow MA.
