Corrine Rita Eldredge

Corrine "Rita" Eldredge, 85, of Mansfield Hollow Rd. Mansfield, wife of Clifford L. Eldredge, went on to her eternal rest Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at Windham Hospital. She was born November 30, 1916 in Willimantic, the daughter of Wilbur and Corrine (Bernier) Kilburn, grew up in Willimantic and lived most of her life in Mansfield. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who took great pleasure in her family. In addition to her husband she is survived by 2 sons, Michael Eldredge of Willington and John K. Eldredge of Baton Rouge, LA, 3 sisters, Marge Eaton of Pomfret, Alice Abel of Lebanon and Lois Jenkins of Tucson, AZ, a brother, Alvin Kilburn of Eastford, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a great grandson Alex Eldredge. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
