Constance Stone

Constance L. (Gosselin) Stone, 68, of Windham Rd. Willimantic, wife of Lawrence H. Stone Sr., died Tuesday March 19, 2002 at the Roncalli Health Center, Willimantic. She was born Dec. 5, 1933 in Brooklyn, Ct., the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosiline (Hebert) Gosselin. She had been employed by the former Electro-Motive Manufacturing Co. and then by SEMCO. She bred and raised Siberian Huskys. Mrs. Stone was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ashford and was active in its' Relief Society. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son and daughter in law Lawrence H. and Ilona Stone Jr. of Willimantic, 2 daughters and sons in law Patricia and Dennis Purcell of Middletown and Jennifer and Matthew Chance of N. Liberty, IN. and 4 grandchildren. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 511 Ashford Center Rd. (Rte. 44) Ashford. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the Hospice of Eastern Ct., 34 Ledgebrook Dr., Mansfield Center,Ct. 06250.
