Constance T. Insalaco, 89, of Willimantic, widow of Anthony Insalaco Sr., died Sunday December 14, 2003 in Windham. She was born September 23, 1914 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Konstanzia and Marciann Chanski. Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years at the former American Thread Company in Willimantic. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, devoted to her family and enjoyed plants, gardening and crocheting. She is survived by a son, Anthony Insalaco Jr. and his wife Maryann of Tolland, a daughter, Marie I. Long of Mansfield, a brother, Frank Chanski of Mansfield, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. prior to the procession to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA East, 34 Ledgebrook Dr. Mansfield Center, CT 06250, St. Joseph Church Renovation Fund, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT 06226 or to St. Joseph Living Center, Club Rd., Windham, CT 06280.
