Constance Mae (Dwyer) Faurot, 87, of Storrs, CT, passed away quietly on March 31, 2023 at St. Joseph Living Center in Windham, CT after fighting a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Constance was born June 7, 1935 in Marion, OH, the daughter of the late Francis and Clara (Merchant) Dwyer. She attended St. Mary’s in Marion for elementary and high school, and went on to study at Kent State University.
Constance also lived in Wayne, NJ as well as Stamford, CT before relocating to Chicago, IL for many years. While in Chicago she worked as Controller for companies such as Gingiss Formal Wear, Jim Beam, and White Way Signs. She loved to sew, do needlepoint and embroidery. She eventually moved back to Connecticut to retire near family.
Constance leaves behind her daughter Nora (Faurot, Goins) Nash, grandson Sean (Carrie Uccello) Goins, great-grandchildren Hailey, Kayla, Trent, Chase of Lebanon, CT, grandson Kevin (Lucy Mancino) Goins and great-grandson Eddie of Windsor, CT. She also leaves behind her brother Patrick Dwyer of Cape Coral, FL.
Constance was predeceased by her brother Thomas Dwyer of Conroe, TX and sister Mary Jo (Dwyer) Miklasz of Chicago, IL.
