Concetta L. Demao

Concetta L. DeMao, 90, of Chaplin, wife of the late Frank DeMao, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at the Windham Hospital. She was born July 23, 1916 in Watertown, MA, the daughter of Francesco and Maria (Rosina) Covino and had lived in Chaplin the past 30 years. She is survived by 4 children, Maria Mattison of Redfield, NY, Patricia MacConnell of Brookline, NH, Tom DeMao of Chaplin and Frank DeMao, also of Chaplin, 6 grandchildren, Mike Welton, Dennis Hawkins, Steve Hawkins, Marlla Magno, Tom DeMao Jr. and Frank DeMao III, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. prior to the procession to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Willimantic.
