Clifford C Ausburger

Clifford C. Ausburger, 71, of Mansfield, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday January 11, 2003 in Mansfield. He was born March 13, 1931 in Lebanon, son of the late Jacob and Caroline (Krause) Ausburger. He grew up in Lebanon and was a constable while he lived there. Mr. Ausburger was employed for many years at Hamilton Standard and Terry Turbine Corp. in Windsor Locks. He was a former member of the Governor?s Horse Guard and for many years a coach for Somers Little League teams. He is survived by 4 children, Charles Ausburger of Storrs, Caroline Enes of Storrs, Sandra Kipp of Farmington and Kimberly MacDonald of Mystic, a brother, Otto Ausburger of Lebanon, a sister Lillian Morgan of Fairfax, VT, 8 grandchildren, Kimberly Obert, Amanda, Clarissa, Justin and Cinthia Enes, Morgan Ausburger, Chelsea and Jack MacDonald, several nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Scott Schuett officiating. Burial will follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 328 Village Hill Rd. Lebanon, CT 06249.
