Claudia J. Celmer

Claudia J. Celmer, of Willington passed away peacefully at Manchester Memorial Hospital on Thursday February 15, 2018 at the age of 76 after battling ovarian cancer for over a year. She was the daughter of the late Jesper A. Ness and Harriett Tillie Ness. She worked at Charles River Labs in Mansfield for more than 40 years before retiring in 2008. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed bingo and crossword puzzles. Claudia is survived by her two sons, Joseph C. Celmer III and his wife Kristin of Southbridge, MA, Raymond K. Celmer and his fianc?e Wendy Hamlin of Willngton, CT; grandchildren, Jacquline M. Celmer and Michael P. Celmer of Southbridge, MA; her loving sister, Penny Washington of Washington State; as well as her nieces and nephews. Other survivors include her ex husband, Joseph C. Celmer Jr. and longtime family friends, Michael and Diane Witek. Per Claudia?s wishes no funeral services nor reception will be held.
