Clarence "Larry" Paquet

Clarence Larry Paquet, 68, of Mayodan, NC, formerly of West Willington, husband of Margarete (Diel) Paquet, died Friday May 6, 2005 at their home after a long illness. He was born April 16, 1937 in Barre, VT, the son of the late Henry and Beatrice (Currier) Paquet and had lived in West Willington for many years before moving to Mayodan 17 years ago. He served as Assistant Captain of Willington Fire Department #1 for over 20 years. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the State of Connecticut. Mr. Paquet was a member of Uriel Lodge #24 inMerrow. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Linda Paquet of Mayodon, NC, 2 sisters, Joy Sellers of Columbia, Elaine Darcy of Andover, 2 brothers, Gary Goulet of Waterbury, Bruce Goulet of Andover, 4 grandchildren, Chyna Paquet of Mayodon, NC, Brandi Jordan of Putnam, Andrea Garrison of Ashford, Cassandra Rodriquez of Stamford, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Paquet. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195,Willimantic on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 AM. Burial will follow in the Willington Hill Cemetery.
