Clarence E. Mills

Clarence E. Mills, 89, of Willimantic, formerly of Coventry, husband of the late Marion (Hobby) Mills, died Monday December, 12, 2005 at his home. He was born June 30, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of William and Josephine (Fry) Mills and had lived in Coventry nearly 65 years before moving to Willimantic. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post in East Hampton. Mr. Mills was employed as a tool & die maker at several area machine shops including Manchester Carbide from which he retired. He is survived by 5 children, Leslie A. Brown of Roanoke, VA, David E. Mills, Carol G. Starkes, Gary G. Mills and Paul G. Mills, all of Coventry, a sister, Edna Petruzzello of Middletown, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 5 sisters. Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
