Cindy "Lu" Luberto

Cindy Luberto, "Lu", age 22, passed away on February 10th, 2010 after a two and a half year battle with cancer. She was born September 30th, 1987 to Sebastian and Debra (LaForce) Luberto. She attended St. Joseph School in Baltic, CT and graduated from Lyman Memorial High School in 2005. A great lover of sports, Cindy was captain of her varsity softball team, manager of Lyman's wrestling team, and a fan of her cousins motor cross racing. A bright, charismatic girl with a big smile and even bigger heart, Cindy, enjoyed playing with her bulldog, Gus, and hanging out with her friends. Family was the most important thing to Cindy. She is survived by her loving parents, Sebastian and Debra Luberto of Franklin, her sister Jill Luberto, her grandfather, William LaForce and many other beloved relatives. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday Feb. 14th between 2:00 and 5:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte.195) Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30am at St. Mary Church, 70 W. Main St., Baltic, with assembly at the church. Interment will follow in Plains Cemetery, Franklin.
