Chunja Lee

Chunja Lee, 77, of Willimantic, devoted wife of Dr. John Lee and loving mother of her three children William, Joseph, and Jeanne has passed away. She will be forever remembered as a kind, generous, and caring soul to all who knew her. She was born in Sosan, South Korea in 1941. After graduating from pharmacy school she married and had two sons. She came to the United States with her young family and had her last child, a daughter. She eventually settled in Willimantic for 50 years before her passing. Chunja never brought attention to herself but her memory shines the brightest. She was always the first to wake and labored endlessly to make our lives better. Her life was full of tribulation, but you could never tell. Complaining was not of her. Her spirit was pure, her smile was bright, and her charm was uplifting. Chunja was our perfect gift from God. She may be gone, but she will always live in our hearts. We wish she could have been with us longer.
