Christine Mason Morgan

Christine Nellie (Davis) Mason Morgan, formerly of Willington, was born in Stafford Springs on Sept. 17,1919 to Willie and Jessie Davis. She died on Dec.4,2011 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husbands, Everett Mason and Donald Morgan; all of her siblings, Ruth, Josephine, Harvey, Oliver, Frank, Esther, Jessie, John and Arthur; her 2 sons Paul Mason and Glenn Mason; and a step daughter Nancy Brown. She grew up in Willington on the Davis homestead and lived many years there before moving to Florida and then to Washington. She leaves behind daughters, Carol Evans and her husband Richard and Doris Giesberg; step children Bill Morgan and his wife Sandy and Dona Ferqueron; many nieces, nephews as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and 2 sisters in law, Mary Davis and Lillian Mason. She loved the Lord, family, flowers and red cardinals. Playing cards with friends and family was a joy to her and she often came out on the winning side. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Willington Federated Churches for many years. There are no calling hours. Her funeral service will be at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic at 11:00am on Dec. 17th, 2011 with interment following in Storrs Cemetery.
