Cheryl R. Lemire

Cheryl R. Lemire, 68, of Willimantic, beloved wife of Larry C. Lemire Sr., died Thursday May 22, 2014 at home. She was born Sept. 11, 1945 in Manchester, CT. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, she passed away with her husband and children by her side. She had been employed by the Town of Windham since 1976, retiring in 2010 as custodian at Windham High School. In addition to her husband Larry Sr., she is survived by her two sons, Larry Lemire Jr. and his wife Tonya and children Seth, Zachary and Tyler; Keith Lemire and Trisha Grimshaw and his children Sadierose and Kyle; her daughter Kim DeLoreto and her husband Ted and children Amber and Heather. She is also survived by her sisters. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday May 27, 2014 between 6:00 and 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic with Rev. Roger Lamoureax officiating.
