Cheryl M. Blais

Cheryl M. Blais, 69, of Norwich, died Wednesday April 2, 2014 in New London. She was born in Norwich the daughter of Irene (Desrosiers) Blais of Norwich and the late Emile A. Blais. Cheryl was a resident of Pawcatuck for several years prior to moving to the Norwich area. She had been employed as a cook and housekeeper at Sacred Heart Rectory in Taftville and also worked at First National Stores in Norwichtown and Pawcatuck. She also enjoyed playing the accordion in country bands in Rhode Island. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Kenneth W. Serio and Jamie M. Serio; a sister Terri I. Bevill and her husband Jim of Moosup, a grandson Austin T. Serio and a niece Loni Bevill and a nephew Jay Bevill. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday April 4, 2014 at 11:00am in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Harland Rd., Taftville.
