Charlotte Lise Rowe

Charlotte Lise Rowe, 50, of Hampton, CT, died on Jan, 28, 2013. Charlotte was born on Feb. 10, 1962, the youngest daughter of Ruth and Lester Rowe of Hamden, CT. She graduated from Hamden High School, and held a degree in horticulture from UConn. Along with her beloved husband, James Oefinger, she founded and ran Affordable Tree Services of Manchester, CT. In addition to her husband, Charlotte is survived by her sister Lesley Rowe of East Haddam, CT, her two brothers, Paul Rowe of Hamden, CT and Jonathan Rowe of Otsego, MN; her nieces and nephews, Adam and Emily Betts of East Haddam, and Katie and Matthew Rowe of Otsego; and her five minskin cats. Providence, R.I., where they spent many happy weekends, was a second home to Charlotte and James. A Memorial Celebration of Charlotte's life will be held on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Hampton Community Center, 178 Main St. (Rte. 97), Hampton, CT, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.
