Charlotte F. Lackenbauer

Charlotte F. Lackenbauer, 98, of Chaplin, widow of the late Milton Lackenbauer, died Wednesday October 10, 2001 in Willimantic. She was born March 28, 1903 in New York City and had lived in the Windham area since 1940. She was employed for a number of years at the former Mansfield State Training School and loved to play cards and bingo. She is survived by a son, Raymond Lackenbauer of Chaplin, several nieces and nephews including Nancy Discepolo of Ashford and numerous great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 7 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will be private in Long Island National Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
