Charles Gyure Jr

Charles Gyure, 61, of Ashford, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. He was a dedicated employee of General Cable in Willimantic for the past fifteen years. Charlie was an active member of his union and served as shop steward for 5 years. He worked diligently for the Unite Here union members. He was previously employed for ten years by General Dynamics in Groton. Charlie served six years in the US Navy Seabees. He enjoyed time spent at home with his family. He is survived by his wife Nancy and three daughters, Jennifer, Erin and Sarah. He was a devoted husband and father. Memorial services will be private. There are no calling hours.
