Charles "Charlie" E. Burr, 66, of Ashford, CT died on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.
Born to the late Betty (Withers) and Bernie White as one of eleven children in Zanesville, OH but spent most of his life living in Connecticut.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Burr; daughter Terri and her husband Ron Bogan; grandchildren, Derek and Dominic; and his dog, Ichabod. He was predeceased by his other dog, Gizmo.
Charlie was a huge Bruce Springsteen fanatic, loved Charlie Brown, enjoyed cooking and spending quality time with his family, and his favorite place was Hampton Beach, NH. He worked as the general Manager for the Willimantic Chronicle for 27 years before retiring. Knowing Charlie was to understand his wit and humor.
