Charles William Deuel

Charles W. Deuel, of Eastford, CT, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Regency Heights in Willimantic at the age of 93 . He was the son of the late William and Emma Deuel of Agawam, Mass. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Josephine (Idzkowski ) Deuel, son William Deuel and his wife Nancy of Windham Center; daughter Linda Paredes and her husband Henry of Eastford; grandsons Peter Deuel of Windham Center and Juan Carlos Paredes of Ashford; a great grandson Samuel of Ashford and many nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II serving in Europe with the Third Army under General Patton. He worked as a mechanic at Capitol Garage in Willimantic for 35 years. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on July 9th at 11:00am in Grove Cemetery, Rte 198, Eastford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Eastford Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O.
