Cecelia G. Lang, 67, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008 at the W.W. Backus Hospital in Norwich after a valiant battle with leukemia. She was born July 15, 1941 in Middletown, the daughter of Genevieve Baginski of Mansfield and the late Edward Baginski. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, William A. Lang and two children, Marc Lang and his wife Terri of Lebanon, Marcia Calcagno and her husband William of Silver Spring, MD. She also leaves behind two grandsons, William F. Calcagno and Zachary M. Calcagno and a step granddaughter, Stephanie Wasylishyn. In addition she leaves behind her sister, Doris Ottaviano of Mystic, numerous cousins and a host of friends. Cecelia was a graduate of Hartford Art School and was an accomplished artist. She retired from Met Life Insurance Company in 2004 where she was employed as a case manager. Her funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. Burial will be private in the Liberty Hill Cemetery, Lebanon at a later date. There are no calling hours.
