Catherine Anne Rose

Catherine A. Rose, 51, of Canterbury, wife of Robert Rose, died Tuesday October 12, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was born January 2, 1953 in Westport, the daughter of Walter Finch of Hampton and the late Anne (Hardigan) Finch and had lived in Canterbury for the last 15 years. She was formerly an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Hampton. Catherine was most recently employed in the retail department of Foxwoods Casino. In addition to her husband and father she is survived by a sister, Sharon Palmer of Hampton, a brother, Gerard Finch of Westport, 2 nephews, Douglas and Keith Bates. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Cedar Swamp Rd., Hampton with assembly at the church.
