Catherine E. Burns

Catherine E. Burns, 68, of 441 Ash St. Willimantic, died Friday morning Jan. 24, 2003 at the Windham Hospital. She was born Sept. 25, 1934 in Boston, MA. the daughter of Walter and Rose Phillips. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by 3 daughters and sons in law; Lynn and Paul Zanlungo of Ashford, Cheryl and Kelly Daley of Danielson and Lori A. and Rick Miller of N. Windham, a son and daughter in law; Robert and Karyl Burns Jr. of Newington, a brother Tom Burns of Leominster, MA., 3 sisters; Rita Olsen of Gainsville, FL., Theresa Sangster of Leominster, MA. and Joan Burns of Gilroy, CA., 5 grandchildren; Amber, Amy and Alyssa Zanlungo, Brandi Miller and Christopher Roberts, a great grandson Paul James Mesawich and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00pm at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Private burial will follow in the Woodward Cemetery, Ashford. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
