Catalina V. Planas-Caban

Catalina V. Planas-Caban, "Nana", of Willimantic, dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died Wednesday, September 4, 2002 in Willimantic. She was born July 18, 1921 in Lares, Puerto Rico. She believed in God's will and forgiveness. She was also a faithful Catholic and New York Yankee's fan. She is survived by her children, Ana M. Caban-O'Neill, Yolanda Caban, Catina V.Caban-Owen, Jose R. O'Neill, Luis R. Perez, Ronald E. Owen, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and godchildren, Luis E. Perez, Jose E. O'Neill, Javier Perez; Eduardo Damian O'Neill, Irma Catalina O'Neill, Yomaris Perez-Rosario, Elizabeth Espittia, Lilivethe Torres, Mayra Elias, Orlando Rosario, Erica Santiago, Eryn Santiago, Patricia Perez, Nicole Perez, Genesis Rosario, Nathan Perez, Elma Planas, Ada Caban, Carmen Velasco, Nana Caban, Damian Planas, Orlando Romero, Joyleen Albarracin, Sandy Granchelli, Isamar and Zori Santos, Ana Ledesma, her brothers, Damian Planas, Lucho Velasco, Antonio Delgado, Angel Velasco, sisters and brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon, Club Rd. Windham. Burial will be in Puerto Rico. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Windham Community Memorial Hospital, 112 Mansfield Ave. Willimantic, CT 06226. The Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic assisted with arrangements.
